Comment: There are a plethora of positive reviews for this title, certainly more than enough to warrant its purchase, so I'll simply add that it ranks as one of the best I've ever played in my gaming "career", literally beginning during the dark ages of the Atari 2600. Play it, you won't be disappointed!

Comment: Nathan Drake returns on a grand adventure! Having played thru the game multiple times, including Crushing, this is one of the best games to ever arrive on the PS3. It seamlessly combines great gameplay, stunning visuals and fun storyline/script. Highly recommended for people who want to go on a grand adventure but don't have time for a RPG.

Summary: Silly monsters again
Comment: This game suffers from the same problem as Uncharted 1 and Far Cry 1. The game is good fun, the graphics are good and play is generally an immersive experience until the developers run out of ideas midway with the silly monster figures. Surely they could come up with better crap than that. It's farcical to play an adventure game in a quasi real life mode and then have to face idiotic characters/monsters. It cheapens the game and is a big turn off. It would have been better to just have human mercenaries instead.

Comment: I am going to keep this short and to the point. This game is amazing, think of it as a young indiana jones going around the world and kicking butt. This is definitely the best game of 2009 without question.

Summary: Great graphics, canned gameplay
Comment: First the good: The art was phenomenal. The locations felt authentic. Some of the puzzles were entertaining. The "stunts" were quite well done and had a good sense of physicality.
The bad: Plot-line and game-play were very canned. I almost felt as if I were on rails(disclaimer: the train sequence was my favorite part). I'm used to more freedom in a game these days and being able to do things as I want to, as well as exploring. For a game about explorers and adventurers, I felt as if everything I did was predetermined. The only time this let up was in combat. Otherwise the whole game was "action button here, step here, jump here, oops! you just barely made it!"
The best game-play were the combat elements and there are better combat games out there.
